You will not find too many eclectic, or hip choices here, but they do have organic baby food, wipes and diapers so if you need to buy your basics, you can swing by before or after work and stock up.

This baby depot in Edmonds is hit or miss, but if you hit, you can find an astounding assortment of baby clothes (designer), and solid brand names for baby gear at bargain prices. From swings to high chairs and bouncer seats, cribs, rockers and more, Burlington has great deals to be had. The distance might make it tough to just pop in for a look-see, but if you are in the area, it's worth a pit stop.

You won't find absolutely everything you need at The Right Start, but you will find plenty of things you want.

Experts in lactation will help you select the breast pump that best suits your needs. You can also rent a Medela Pump and buy replacement parts if you are borrowing one from a friend. Me 'N Moms does not feel like a consignment shop and tends to have quality and style of items than many other shops. Me 'N Moms does carry some new items such as Robeez shoes. Bootyland is definitely one of the hippest and eco-conscious baby stores in the Seattle area. They make sure to carry organic and locally made clothes and have a consignment section in the back with some wonderful steals. From organic onesies with lead free ink to cool rock n’ roll tops and kimono’s for babies, and skeleton skull bloomers, Bootyland delivers to Seattle’s earth friendly and hip minded parent set. If you are close to Northgate and have the patience and desire to browse through for a bargain, Kyms Kiddy Corner is worth your time. This Wallingford baby and children’s boutique sells new and gently used clothing along with toys and other baby necessities. They carry new Aden + Anais muslin sleep sacks which are a wonderful alternative to blankets, and feature California Baby bath products which are fabulous for baby’s sensitive skin. There is a $1 rack which is great for bargain finds, like Gap leggings and overalls. Otherwise, as with many consignment baby stores in Seattle the store is fairly crammed with inventory and you need to get your discount scouring through the racks hat on. Kids on 45th is not the best place to bring a stroller as there is a step and a gate to get through. The aisles are narrow and crowded so try to browse while someone else is watching the kids.

Toys from around the world are sold here, from Germany, Thailand, and Romania to name a few. Some of the unique offerings include Max’s Mud organic sculpting dough as an alternative to play-dough made from 100% organic rice flour.
